In This Circle…

The seasons are shifting. Our bones still feel warm from the sun but we feel the luscious pull of darkness. This is the Equinox: that delicious, fleeting moment of Sacred Balance. We gather. we laugh, we sing, we grieve, we give thanks, and yes we might even bite the apple.

Autumn is here and she’s bringing blackberries that are fat, dark, and bursting with pleasure (watch those brambles though, Lady Blackberry has thorns for anyone who doesn’t honour her sweetness).

Light and dark, life and death, giving and receiving all held in one tender breath.

Expect a circle that’s playful and powerful, wild and wise

🌑 Crafting with the energy of the season

🌑 Singing and story to honour the harvest and your own cycles of release + renewal.

🌑 Sharing intentions, because to receive, we must also let go.

🌑 A little ritual mischief (because what’s magic without laughter?).

Bring

🍇 Foraged blackberries (your offering to the circle).

🧶 A cosy jumper, socks and scarf for when the night wraps around us

This evening is for anyone ready to step proudly into the darkening season, owning their boundaries, embracing their many states of being, and remembering the joy, wit, and wildness that lives within.

Come as you are. Leave 'A little bit witchier.' 🖤✨

A Little Bit Witchy is a women’s circle dedicated to helping you explore your inner Wild Woman - you know her; she’s thrumming through you on your best day, and she’s the voice inside you that guides you on your worst. She’s confident, thriving and fun. She knows how-to live-in harmony with the earth, she trusts herself, and she joyfully provides for herself and others. She’s you.

Step out of the everyday into ritual – the place of in-between where the magic happens. We’ll sit in a circle, move our bodies, listen to stories, and search our souls. Some gatherings may include crafting, making and green witchery. Others might include dreaming, blessing and dancing. Whatever happens, please expect to have a playful and profound time. You may build and honour deep connections with yourself, each other and the planet.

A Little Bit Witchy aims to leave you inspired, more alive to your own magic and with a twinkle in your eye. Warning: it really is a little bit witchy.

This is a small gathering, so we have limited tickets

We don’t want the ticket price to be a barrier, if the price is an issue, please get in touch: hello@madarayoga.com

Deborah and Charlotte will create a ritual space to connect and explore your inner wild woman. The one who knows how-to live-in balance with the earth, who trusts herself, who joyfully provides for herself and others. Who’s confident, healthy and in balance.

Deborah - The Chiltern Sound Spa

Inspired by her personal shamanic work, Deborah trained as a sound meditation practitioner and a sacred cacao ceremony facilitator. She launched The Chiltern Sound Spa at the start of 2018 (under a Blue Moon) to share a broad range of practices that support mindful living and help build a deeper connection with ourselves, each other and Mother Nature.

Deborah loves trees and has a diploma in Forest Bathing (Shinrin Yoku) from the International Society of Nature & Forest Medicine. She is currently studying sacred drumming with the College of Sound Healing.

Charlotte - Actor, writer, yoga teacher and founder of Madara Yoga

Charlotte Gallagher is an actor, writer and yoga teacher. She trained as a ritualist with the priestess and master yoga teacher Sianna Sherman. She has received, taken part in, and created many ceremonies over the years with many wise women: Leila Sadeghee; Bridget Luff; Tanja Mickwitz; Hannah Muse; Uma Dinsmore-Tuli; Vanina Deak; Carolyn Hillyer and soon Isla McLeod. She explores shamanic-dreaming practice with her teachers, Manda Scott and Louise Mayer. Her yoga teaching includes the deep relaxation practice, Yoga Nīdra.

Charlotte is inspired by the yoga tradition, mythopoetics, the Celtic Wheel of the Year, the natural world and the humour in everyday life.
