Curious about getting upside down? Whether you're working towards your very first headstand or looking to build more strength, stability and confidence in your inversion practice, this 3-week course is designed to support you on your journey to headstand.
Over the three weeks, we will progressively build the foundations of a strong and sustainable headstand practice. Each session will include a gentle headstand-focused flow, targeted strengthening drills and mobility exercises, followed by workshop-style teaching where we break down the skills and techniques needed to feel comfortable upside down.
Together we will explore:
Strength and stability drills for inversions
Headstand alignment and technique
Safe entries and exits
Building confidence upside down and moving beyond the fear that often comes with inversions
Different headstand variations and progressions
Common challenges and how to overcome them
As the course progresses, we will build on the skills learned each week, giving you the opportunity to develop your practice in a supportive and structured way. No previous headstand experience is required - this course is open to complete beginners as well as those who are already able to headstand and would like to refine their technique, improve control, and explore different headstand variations.
Expect plenty of time for questions, feedback, and hands-on support throughout. Whether your goal is to learn your first headstand, hold your headstand with greater ease, or explore fun new variations, this course will help you develop the strength, awareness, playfulness, and confidence to enjoy the many benefits of being upside down.
