This two-hour masterclass offers an extended, immersive yoga experience for established practitioners wishing to deepen their physical practice, awareness, and understanding of traditional yogic methods.

The first hour is dedicated to Ashtanga-based yogāsana, where movement and breath are woven together as a living meditation. Through steady rhythm, conscious transitions, and disciplined attention to ujjayi breath and dr̥ṣṭi, the practice becomes a tool for purification, presence, and inner steadiness.

The second hour draws inspiration from Dharma Mittra Yoga, integrating elements of Ashtanga and classical Hatha, guided by the principle of ahimsa (non-violence). This part of the practice invites a softer, more expansive quality — allowing space for prāṇāyāma, longer-held postures, subtle awareness, and meditation. The emphasis is on listening, refinement, and cultivating compassion towards the body and the mind.

This offering is called a masterclass because it is an extended, uninterrupted practice intended for practitioners who wish to embody yoga rather than analyse it. Unlike a workshop, there is minimal technical explanation; instead, the focus is on direct experience, integration, and depth, allowing the practice itself to become the teacher.

Please note:

This masterclass is not suitable for complete beginners. Participants should have an established yoga practice and be comfortable with sustained, breath-led movement and stillness.

This is a practice of devotion, discipline, and self-inquiry — an opportunity to move beyond the external form and reconnect with the quieter essence of yoga.

Teaching together, they blend their lineages to create a practice that is powerful yet kind, offering deep, supportive adjustments and guidance that honours each body. Throughout the masterclass there will be pranayama and reflections on ahimsa, reminding us that yoga is not just physical movement, but a path of self-awareness, devotion and conscious living. ✨ Come ready to be challenged, supported and inspired — and to experience yoga as a transformative, embodied practice.
